The
Challenge

Click Bathrooms sell made-to-measure shower doors. Angled doors, bath screens, corner enclosures, cut-to-size screens, three-sided enclosures, every one built to the customer’s own measurements.

That is a hard thing to sell online. A bespoke product with a dozen variables has none of the things that normally make e-commerce work: no fixed price, no stock photo that matches what arrives, no single add-to-basket.

The job was to make a bespoke, measured, quoted product buyable by somebody sat at home who has never ordered a shower door in their life.

Key challenges

A bespoke product, sold online

Every door is different, so there is no catalogue to browse and no fixed price to show.

Measurements from a customer

The whole order depends on numbers supplied by someone who is not a fitter, and getting them wrong is expensive.

No showroom to fall back on

Buyers cannot see the product first, so the site has to do all the reassuring.

Confidence before payment

People spend serious money on a custom door. They need to know it will fit before they commit.

Our
Approach

We built the site around the configurator rather than bolting one on. Style and shape first, then measurements, then finish, then a full quote, with the steps numbered so nobody is guessing how far through they are.

A CAD drawing goes back to the customer to approve before anything is made, which is the step that turns a nervous enquiry into an order. The site says so up front rather than hiding it in the terms.

The approach

Build your door

A four-step configurator covering style, shape, measurements and finish, ending in a full quote rather than a vague price range.

Reassurance in the flow

CAD approval before manufacture and a realistic delivery window, both stated where the customer is deciding rather than buried in small print.

Search and support content

A gallery, FAQs and design tips built to answer the questions people search for before they are ready to measure anything.
